I could not stand the bitter taste of Gin and Tonic! How? How? How, do people drink this thing? Until one summer I came home to my housemate who was obsessed with drinking it, turns out thing thing is lovely when made properly. And many a friendship has been formed over a glass or two. It is the perfect sipping drink for those hot summer days/ nights.
This recipe is the one that made me fall in love and ever since I have been mixing it up with different combinations such as with grapefruit or cucumber.
My favorite two Gins at the moment are Inverroche (the Classic and the Amber are delicious, with the Amber being rooibos infused) and The Botanist which goes great with grapefruit.
If you find tonic too bitter try it with dry lemon for a sweeter taste.
A double shot of Gin
A slice of lemon
A sprig of rosemary
200 ml of tonic water/ dry lemon

Add a slice of lemon and squeeze of lemon juice (+/- 5 ml)
