Potluck Club Fish Tacos
Artisan Bread and Dips
I could not get enough of this dish! The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. My favourite was the whole glove of roasted garlic that just melted in your mouth (but then again I'm a massive garlic fan so this was sure to be a win).
I can taco about these for days! They are served in twos, the crispy taco base is toppped with bean curd, fish, avo, and tomato salsa! In two bites it was gone, leaving me wanting more.
Pork and apple are a match made in heaven! This was one of the last dishes before dessert. There is nothing like cubes of salty, crispy pork belly to end off one of the perfect meals!

The Potluck Club
Situated on the 6th floor of the old biscuit mill, the restaurant offers gorgeous panoramic views of the city. I got there in time to enjoy the sunset while sipping on a passion fruit sake cocktail. The food is served tapas styles based on the social interactive dining concept. Since there was two of us the waitress (who had excellent comedic timing and the best food puns) recommended we have 7-8 dishes before dessert. The dishes go for between R35 and R95 each (which definitely makes this a begining of the month place). Book well in advance- we called a month ahead!
This place is great for a romantic dinner, a celebration or a good bonding session with a great friend. The ambiance is relaxed, the food is scrumptious and the cocktails are out this world!
I mean the title is enough to make your mouth water! Also, I want every mayo I ever eat to taste just like this one. The Potluck Luck Club really out did itself with this dish. Such simple food complimented with the most robust favours and textures.
